Polistar E

POLISTAR E is a two-component, solvent-based, deformable aliphatic polyurethane coating, developed to offer long-lasting and superior aesthetic protection on surfaces subjected to extreme environmental conditions. This coating stands out for its high resistance to weathering, maintaining gloss and color over time without yellowing. It is especially suitable for aggressive industrial and marine environments, thanks to its resistance to corrosive atmospheres. POLISTAR E offers excellent protection against fresh water and seawater, diluted acid and alkaline solutions, as well as against petrochemical products such as naphtha, gasoline, kerosene, and mineral oils up to 80 °C.

It has high hardness, excellent scratch and impact resistance, while maintaining good flexibility. It is repaintable after some curing time, which allows for maintenance or reinforcement without the need to remove the existing layer. It is also suitable for surfaces in contact with chlorinated water.
