Polistar E/P

POLISTAR E/P is a two-component, solvent-based, aliphatic polyurethane colored elastic finish coating, formulated to offer long-lasting and aesthetic protection to waterproofing systems in demanding environments. This coating stands out for its high resistance to weathering, excellent color and gloss retention, and stability to UV rays, with no tendency to yellowing. Its formula also provides good flexibility, impact resistance, and excellent scratch resistance, maintaining performance even on surfaces subject to vibrations or expansion.

With an elongation greater than 70% (polyurea), it effectively resists fresh water, seawater, detergents, and diluted acids. It withstands up to 0.5% active chlorine in the water, making it ideal for aggressive or corrosive environments. It can be repainted after some curing time, increasing the system's versatility. It is compatible with the STARFLEX line as a UV protection layer for polyurethane or polyurea based systems.
