Quinta da Asneira, a landmark accommodation in Montemor-o-Novo and part of the Small Portuguese Hotels network, trusted our engineering solutions to ensure maximum protection and durability for its infrastructure.
To guarantee effective, long-lasting waterproofing against humidity and hydrostatic pressure, the following technical solutions were applied:

• Penetron Admix SB: A deep crystallization additive incorporated directly into the fresh concrete mix. It ensures crack self-healing and permanent waterproofing for the entire concrete structure.
• Penebar SW-55: A bentonite waterstop strip for construction joints. It expands upon contact with water, effectively sealing the most critical points against seepage.
• Flexseal 300: A hydro-expansive polyurethane sealant in a thixotropic paste, pre-packaged in an extrudable cartridge for application with a standard caulking gun, designed for use as a waterstop in more complex or demanding waterproofing scenarios in below-grade structures.
