High-Performance Thermal Insulation with 1 to 10 mm Thickness

Traditional insulation systems are thick, complex, and generate waste that is difficult to dispose of. MANTI® CERAMIC, developed by Műszer Automatika Ltd. using proprietary nanotechnology, offers an ultrathin solution (1 mm to 10 mm) that is quick to apply, sustainable, and environmentally friendly.

It works by controlling the electromagnetic spectrum of solar energy, preventing or reducing the conversion of energy into heat through wave interference and resonance.

MANTI® CERAMIC is a family of insulating materials formed by micro-layers, mainly composed of microscopic ceramic spheres with internal vacuum cavities, produced through a nanotechnology process. These hollow ceramic microspheres, with nanometer-thick walls, almost completely reduce heat transfer.

It is effective for interior, exterior, and industrial applications, including agriculture (silos, warehouses, livestock buildings), pipelines, boilers, and vehicles, and can withstand extreme conditions.

The technology has been tested in in-house laboratories and certified by international standards (ÉMI-TÜV SÜD). The material significantly reduces energy consumption and protects historic façades without altering their appearance.

Summer heat is kept out of the building, while winter heat is retained inside.

Advantages

Comparison with Traditional Insulation Systems

Thickness: Conventional insulation materials do not block heat but only slow its flow. Consequently, their insulating capacity depends directly on their thickness. MANTI® CERAMIC allows for an ultrathin layer of 1 to 10 mm.

Permeability: Many insulation materials are not breathable (do not allow water vapor to pass through), which can lead to condensation between the wall and the insulation, creating an environment conducive to mold and fungus growth. In contrast, MANTI® CERAMIC is highly breathable and certified as antifungal and anti-mold.

Application: Most insulation systems require specialized labor with multiple steps and details. The MANTI® CERAMIC product range prioritizes easy and hassle-free application.

Reflectance: Some products on the market claim to be thermal solutions; however, they are solely reflective solutions for heat waves. MANTI® CERAMIC is a true thermal insulation solution with reflective properties when exposed to heat.

How it works

Heat Flows from the Interior to the Exterior

With MANTI® CERAMIC Applied Externally:

  • The heat flow from the interior is slowed by the wall and then encounters high resistance from the MANTI® CERAMIC thermal coating, which reflects it, returning energy back to the wall structure.
  • The wall accumulates heat; this “battery effect” hinders heat transmission to the exterior and creates a comfortable environment.
  • In our experience, a sense of comfort can be achieved even at an ambient temperature of 16°C–17°C.

With MANTI® CERAMIC Applied Internally:

  • The heat flow is immediately blocked, remaining within the indoor environment.

Summer

Heat Flows from the Exterior to the Interior

With MANTI® CERAMIC Applied Externally:

  • Solar radiation first reaches the thermal coating. Approximately 85% of the electromagnetic radiation spectrum cannot pass through MANTI® CERAMIC.
  • The remaining 15% is absorbed by the wall, thanks to the slowing of the heat flow.

With MANTI® CERAMIC Applied Internally:

  • External heat warms the masonry but is blocked before entering the interior spaces.
